I am available, by appointment only, for live individual, couples, and family therapy. I can also make myself available by telephone and ZOOM or other HIPAA-compliant electronic consultations and sessions.

I present lectures on specific subjects as well as initiate and take part in interactive workshops and intensives for patients and professionals, as well as the general public.

I particularly enjoy teaching and interacting with colleagues whether I’m training your clinical staff on a myriad of subjects and approaches or functioning as a clinical supervisor for your trainees and interns.

I specialize in conducting “therapeutic” interventions. The vast majority of people who call themselves “Interventionists,” have no official professional training whatsoever. I pride myself on the license which qualifies me as a mental health professional and I am, from time to time called upon to become involved with some very difficult and complicated cases.

I am eminently qualified to serve as an expert witness in most legal venues, hearings and mediations. An expert witness is a person who is a specialist in a subject, often technical, but not always, who may present his expert opinion without having been a witness to any occurrence relating to the lawsuit or criminal case.

My years of professional experience in mental and emotional disorders in general and alcoholism and drug addiction in particular, qualify me as a reliable and accurate source of information and arbiter of the facts of the case in question.

Additionally, I am available as a consultant for misdemeanor sentencing. If you or a loved one has been arrested for a misdemeanor drug and/or alcohol charge, I will assist your attorney in making arrangements for a personalized alternative program to the penal system, accompany you to court to speak on your behalf as a professional to the judge and journey with you to your ultimate destination, which may include residential treatment, sober living and/or an Intensive Outpatient Program.

I am in this field because I want to see that everyone who wants help with their emotional and mental problems can get it. That’s why I became a therapist and why I have learned everything I can about how the facilities that provide this assistance are created and operate to their full potential of success, both for the patient and the business.

The process of licensing, credentialing and creating a program for a substance abuse and/or mental health facility for adults and adolescents can be lengthy, complicated and costly for the initiate – but it doesn’t have to be. You just need someone on your team who knows the ropes and has done it before. I can also assist you in creating a vision, clinical and operations program, business plan, proforma and profit/loss forecast for your projected facility.
